Yasmin Kerr
Yasmin Kerr is a very minor celebrity and minor character in the ill-fated and not very good sitcom "A bear's tail", which incidentally had a man dressed up as a two-foot high bear as its central character.
The main acting technique she demonstrated in this program was occasionally looking shocked at the latest lewd antics of the tiny bear.
It was garbage, but self-mocking garbage, so I guess that's ok.
Ahhh no, it was just dire.
PS This is a test. I'm curious if I'll get loads of hits from people searching for "Yasmin Kerr" on the various search engines when this gets cached. Obviously this wouldn't work for a major star - I'd be too far down the listings. But it might here.

Update: So far I've only got one incoming hit from someone searching for "Yasmin Kerr", so this wasn't a resounding success.
Another update: by now, I've gotten loads of hits on this particular page, although they're probably all from Yasmin Kerr herself.
She's really, really z-list.
She is most famous (or only famous?) for being the daughter of Chrissie Hynde (and more embarassingly Jim Kerr).
I've never heard of either of them, but thanks anyway.
If anyone out there has any tales of Yasmin Kerr indulging in lesbian activity and/or hard drugs, let me know.

This thread has me rolling... I WAS looking for Yasmin Kerr, I wanted to see a video clip of A Bear's Tail with her in it. A relative actually although we've never met. Hence my curiosity : )
Yasmins sweet enough. went to school with her. Wish her success. As far as I remember she was never a lesbian, but what do I know.
Why would being Jim Kerr's daughter be embarassing? He is a wonderfully nice person.
She seems nice enough. Her parents coolness or whatever is open to individual opinion but she should not be slagged off because of them. For what its worth I think she has talented parents
Well considering her mother is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and was listed as #7 on the list of best women in rock history, and her father fronted one of the 80s best bands, I don't think their "coolness" can even be debated.

I was searching for "Yasmin Kerr". Just curious as to what she looked like, as I have always been a huge fan of Chrissie, and yikes!, actually remember when both Yasmin and her older sister, Natalie, were born.
I count; I just ran a google search on Ms Kerr after her name came up in the red pages and I wanted to see who she is. Your page was about halfway down the listings, but seemed an honest appraisal of who she is.
I went to school with her, and was actually good friends with her. She's one of the most down to earth and friendly people out there. She's not warped by her parents fame in the slightest. I wish her all the best in whatever she may be up to now.

I knew Yasmin for a while before eventually finding out who her parents were. I would agree that she is a lovely down to earth person who earns a living for herself, which is more than can be said for some of those A listers out there with rich Daddies! I wish zarathustra the best of luck with getting a life - you obviously need to!

Yasmin Kerr! Bingo! I remember when she was born (I was about 12), I was the world's hugest Simple Minds fan, and I also loved the Pretenders... I was sure that this kid was going to be the messiah or something. I can't remember why I was looking her up now. Ah, Alzheimer's sets in.
In my opinion she is gorgeous, funny and a true talent.
I was searching for her as I have a bear's tail on dvd and saw her name (spelt yasim kerr) on the box but couldn't remember who she was. I was curious as to whether she was past kensit's daughter but this page has answered my question :-)
i think your rather insulting, it has nothing to do with you or any of us what she does, shes a great mum with twin boys she does not live of her parents profiles she keeps her life private and her parents are great people to, so you should really keep your opinions to yourself.... joanna parker a very good simple minds fan
